Chase me
Tickle me
Run after me
Like a zombie
I’ll blow bubbles
You try to catch them
I’ll ask questions
You try to answer them
My ballet spin!
Watch me twirl
Uh oh, rain?
In our little world
Pick me up,
Mommy!
When will Daddy be home?
..
About the poem:
It’s easy to have fun with the little person you invited into your world, when you remember how it felt to be a kid!
We had a great time today doing all that kid stuff! When I busted out my cartwheel and handstand forward roll (from high school gymnastics days) on the soccer field, I got extra points from my five-year-old buddy!
